                               Pancakes 

Ingredients

1.  Self-Rasing flour 
2. White Sugar 
3. Lemon zest 
4. milk
5.  egg
6. butter.

How to make it 

First grab a bowl Then put 1 cup of Self-Rasing flour and then add 2 ups of white Sugar.

Second 1/2 tsp of Lemon Zest and then add 1 cup of milk.

Third add 1 Egg and then add 30g of butter.

Then mix and after cook them then decorate them how ever you like.

WWF

The WWF is trying to save freshwater seals. They are building fresh water snow banks. Half of the pups could die if there are no banks. This will make it safe for baby seals to be born and give them protection from the cold and predators.

The hokitika gorge is a very nice walk and the water is a nice colour.

Hokitika has a cool clock tower it has some red on it.

Lines of Symmetry

We were learning how to do lines of symmetry by taking photos of thing asymmetrical and symmetrical. The hard part was when I had to find things that are asymmetrical around the school.
The easy part was to find things symmetrical around the school.

We were learning how to write a narrative story.
My biggest area I improved in was writing because I wrote more then I normally.

Swimming for Gold

Swimming for Gold
I did Canvas for my book Swimming For Gold. My book had 5 chapters and I did not like it because it was too long for me. It took me from Monday to Thursday to finish it and get it on my blog.

Scribble Art

I liked making the scribble, doing the panting and dying the scribble.
I didn't liked getting glue on my hands.

Coded One Hundred

We were learning to do a coded 100 board.

The problem was that I did not know any codes.

I was trying to find out what 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9 and then I would know all the other codes.

My strategy was to find one hundred and I found out what the one was and then I figured out where the tens were and then I knew 123456789 and then I knew every code. 

Descriptive writing

We were learning how to do descriptive writing.
My biggest area I improved on was writing because I put more descriptive words in.
I am most proud of my effort in thinking of different descriptive words.
I would like to improve on getting it done faster then I did.

problem solving

We were learning to solve problems and show the working out.
My biggest area I improved on is my subtraction.
I am most proud of my effort in my subtraction because I had to correct it.
I would like to improve on cheeking before the teacher checks it.

We were learning how to show the time that we think is right for our math's activity. The biggest area I improved on is telling the time because I only know how to tell the time on a digital. I am most proud of my effort that I have put in to this activity. I would like to improve on getting it finished earlier then I did for this activity. I got in the way of my learning because I was talking to people and not getting my work done.

Passion Project

We learning how to do some research about what we liked. My biggest area I have improved on is research. I am most proud of my effort I have put in to this slide. I would like to improve on finding more about Roller Skates. I got in the way of my learning because I did not get what I needed to get finished.

To Market To Market

We were learning to show two different array of 15, 12, 36, 27 and 32 I am most proud of my effort that I put in to my math's activity. I would like to improve on getting it done earlier than Thursday. I got in the way of my learning because I was not focusing on my work.

Facts About The Sun

We were learning to do facts about are book that we have learn. My biggest area I improved on is knowing my facts about the sun I got all those facts from my book I was reading. I am most proud of my effort to using all those facts in my Slide. I would like to improve on making sure I have no mistakes in my facts. I got in the way of my learning because I was distracting myself and not doing my work.

Story Maker

The easy part was thinking about the Easter hunt added into the writing. The hard part was thinking what I could do with the words.

Flying Cars

 I like this one the most because it has wings, flying and shiny.
 It would be faster then a Motor bike.
 It would fly up to the clouds in the sky.
 I would like to look down like a bird and touch a cloud.

Moana

I have seen the movie and my favorite part is when the larva monster turns in to the I land of Te Fiti it is my favorite because Te Fiti is really pretty.

Maui the demigod stole the heart of Te Fiti. Te Fiti turned into a lava monster. Moana lived in a Polynesian land. Moana had a connection to the ocean and her family would not let her go beyond the reef. Her nana gives her the heart of Te Fiti and she says to go off and restore the heart. So she grabs a boat and goes beyond the reef. She find out HeiHei her chicken is on the boat. Then they go to the t strange island. Then they meet Maui the demigod and he sings her a song. At the end of his song Moana gets trapped in a cage. Then Maui starts to take the boat away. She finds a hole in the cave and she climbs out. She jumps and lands on the boat. Maui and Moana set off to get his hook. They arrive and they climb up to this circle. Then the circle moves to the side and then a portal opens it leads to this crab that ate it's grandma. Moana tries to distract the crab wile Maui grabs his hook. After that they run away with Maui hook and go back up the portal to the circle. They climb back down to the boat and set off to restore the heart off Te Fiti  I land. Maui distracts the lava monster and Moana climbs up onto the cliff and she she puts the heart on the lava monster. After that the lava monster turns into Te Fiti and Maui gets a bew hook.

Peter Snell

The Beetles

1. The Beetles arrived on June the twenty first in 1964. 
2. The name of the hotel where the Beatles stayed was The George.

Television

My favorite TV program is The Block. It is on Channel Three. It is when there are contestant's who renovate rooms  like dining, kitchen kids bedroom, out side, rooftop, stairs and living room. There are other competition outside in the city. There are other competition like kayaking to collect rubber duckies.

 

Names

There is no one at our school with those popular 1950's names. These are the popular names at are school.
Girls : Marnie, Georgia, Abby and Sophie .
Boys: Liam, Sam and Jake.

Meat and three veg

I think meat and three veg is a healthy rule. I do  not like this rule because I would not like to eat all of those vegetables. I like to have different food like make your own pizza and tacos.

Fashion Statement

I would prefer this style of clothes.

1. They were fashionable.
2. I like to wearing dresses and hats. 

In sixty five years from now I think that they will be wearing clothes made out of slime that glows in the dark and dresses made out of tinsel.

VE Day

1.  I would invite all my friends and family over for the whole day.
2. We would do some swimming and play some games on the beach.
3. We go back to my house and have a massive party and a barbecue.
4. Every one enjoys the party it was very fun.

Charles Upham

Charles Upham is the only New Zealand solider to earn two VC's. He was born in Christchurch in 1908. He got one for gallantry and leadership in the the battle of Crete on May 1941. He was given his medal at Buckingham Palace. He was a sergeant in the army.  After the war he went back to being a farmer. 

Eventful Experience

D-Day
D-day happened on 6 of June 1944. It was on the coast of Normandy. The Allies were trying to make the Germans leave France. 130000 solders came by ship and 23000 came by gliders. They were trying to end the war.

Crete
Crete started on May 1941 it went for twelve days. There are troops from New Zealand, Britain, Australia and Greece. 7700 New Zealand troops tried to stop the Germans from taking over Crete.

Helping Hand

1.  Grow some fruit and vegetable like pumpkin seeds, straw berry seeds and grapes seed I would sell  it at a market.
2. A bake sale I would go down the main road selling: cakes, cupcakes and some dough.
3.  A raffle the first prize would be a hundred dollar voucher to spend at the Book Shop, second prize would be a fifty dollar voucher to spend at New World and third prize would be thirty dollar voucher to spend at the Kiwi Center.

Dealing with stress

Relax 

1. I like to do drawing.
2.  Lego is fun to play with.
3. I play with these toys: hatchimals.
4. I build a hut with the couch cushions and sheets.

When I am really stress I need to do: deep breaths, be alone.

Art Deco

 I would like to give it a three stars and it is okay I like the way it is drawn, the colors that they have used and the hard work that they put in.

The Lion Cage

It is set at the circus and I would like to watch a silent movie because they have really good acting with no talking at all.
At the start he was running away from a donkey then he runs into a lion cage where the lion is sleeping after that he locks his self in the cage and he is stuck there in the cage.
In the middle he looked on the other side of the cage and there was a tiger then he shut the door. After that a dog starts barking at him. He is scared because the lion might wake up. After that a lady comes along but then she faints. She wakes up and she opens the door. The man does not go out it. He goes over to have a look at the lion but then he runs straight out up a pole.
