Math

 This is my math problem about the rugby world cup. I had to use multiplication to work out the answers. It was super easy to work out the answers.

Today we had Alexis Pritchard come in and talk to us about her career.

She said that "success does not just happen, you need to earn it".

We watched a video about her when she first started and told us some stories.

Compute It

Yesterday we started to do Compute It. 

Compute It is a game where you have to follow instruction. 

You have to move the dot in the right place

Today we did a science experiment.What you need is milk, four food colouring bottles and dish washing liquid.

My hypothesis was that it would explode but that did not happen.

 First we poured the milk into the bowl.Next you put in the food colouring in.Then you add the dish washing liquid.

Then the fat was reacting to the dish washing and this is how it looked ...

Interchange

On every Friday our school does interchange. 

Interchange is where we all choose something that we want to do. 

I am in knitting and I am making a scarf because it is the most easiest thing to make.

As soon as we are ready we will make a teddy bear.

I love knitting! 

Screen Casting

This is my screen casting of matific and I am coming 74th. The competition is out of New Zealand and Australia. Our whole school is doing the competition.

Dragon Drawing

Today Mrs Minehan talked to us about the images we use off the internet. We learnt that it is best to create our own, so she showed us how to download an image from the Explore tool onto Google Drawing and then we made it our own by using the Polyline line tool to draw over it and colour it in. It was so much fun. Have you ever made your own images like this?

 I enjoyed drawing a dragon and it was fun.

Sun Catchers

In the morning our class panted the edges of paper plates. I liked making sun catchers because I liked to collect the Autumn leaves. My favourite part was watching it go through the laminator. Have you made a sun catcher using autumn leaves?

Science Experiment

Today we done a science experiment at school. We put three different colours of dye in three cups and put white flowers. I thought they would change to the colour that they are in. They have started to show a little bit of colour. I made the right prediction. Have you done a science experiment?
